Group Performance

In 2012, the electrical energy consumption by the Group cement production plants, attached and related quarries was 1,536GWh or 5,529TJ (about 5,528TJ by the cement plants and their attached quarries and 1TJ by threerelated quarries). As in the case of thermal energy consumption, the observed increase of almost 7.0% - compared to last year - is a result of the increase of the volume of our production. The average specific consumption was similarly increased by 7.0%, compared to the previous year, coming to 118.7kWh/t_Cement.
