In keeping with TITAN Group’s precautionary measures regarding the health of employees and their families, regular yearly medical checkups have been extended to include cardiovascular exams for all Usje employees over the age of 50. The examinations include a physical, BMI, EKG, ultrasound, cardiac stress test, laboratory analyses and defining the cardiovascular risk and predictors of heart diseases.
So far, about two thirds of all concerned employees have been subjected to this checkup. All Usje employees at the age of 50 and over, more specifically about 226 employees and managers have finished with this new medical checkup.
For the third year in a row, Usje also provided additional medical checkups for its female employees. Namely, a contract with the best clinic in the country was signed for mammography and a complete breast checkup in addition to the gynecological exams conducted so far.
In 2012, further to the gynecological and breast exams of the female employees, additional osteoporosis checkup was introduced for all female employees. Prostate tumor marker test for male employees over 50 were also included as part of our efforts to improve the health and well-being of Usje’s employees.
Approximately 66% of Usje’s employees are over the age of 50, representing a significant proportion of the total labor force.
