Local stakeholders advisory board
On 04 November 2011 SharrCem submit its proposal to the Municipal Authorities for the establishment of a Local Community Advisory Board which would operate as a liaison between the community and our Company in order to streamline our support activities towards the local community. This boardis among the first of its kind in the country, and is in alignment with the TITAN Group’s strategy of engaging with its stakeholders to ensure it is meeting their needs.
The first meeting took place on 15 December 2011, at the premises of the municipality and was seen as a welcome initiative by all parties present.
