Engaging with Investors
In 2012, TITAN continued to engage with investors through meetings with Socially Responsible Investors (SRIs), responding to feedback received regarding non-financial performance reviews and the communication of environmental and social targets and outcomes.
TITAN’s commitment to sustainable growth and continuous efforts to respond adequately to stakeholder concerns has been clearly acknowledged by signatories of the United Nations- backed Principles for Responsible Investment. With a letter sent to TITAN’s CEO, the significance given to the long-term commitment of the TITAN Group in applying the ten Global Compact principles and reaching the status of an Advanced level reporter, according to U.N. Global Compact criteria for Communication on Progress was underlined.
As reported in 2011, TITAN was selected for the investment universe of Triodos Bank.
Also, TITAN has been selected for inclusion in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register since 08/05/2013. This selection by Forum ETHIBEL indicates that the company performs better than average in its sector in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Moreover, the TITAN Group has expanded its collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) through investments in three more countries, Serbia, Kosovo and F.Y.R. of Macedonia, following an overall assessment of its financial, social and environmental performance according to IFC standards.
