SharrCem is committed to operate in a transparent and accountable manner. Soon after the completion of the action plan that was focused on the complete modernization of infrastructure and technology in the plant, a conference addressing stakeholders at national level was organized to present the CSR and Sustainability strategy of the company and launch the process of meaningful engagement with stakeholders.

Moreover, in June 2012, the company organized a plant Open day for all stakeholders and primarily the communities neighboring the plant.  Almost 5,000 visitors attended the event and had the opportunity to take a guided tour around the new, greenerSharrCem.
